Welcome to Ephesians 5:8 Ministries. My name is Jacob Dixon. I am a recent graduate from John 3:16 Ministries and a child of God. I struggled with addiction for many many years and had pretty much given up on life. I didn't think there was any way possible to change my life and had come to terms with being lost in my sin. I tried to fill a void in my heart with the things of the world, but sadly it just led me farther into my addiction. I had no idea that there were literally thousands and thousands of people like me in the world suffering and struggling to get out of their addiction. I found life again at John 3:16 Ministries and realized that the only thing that was going to fill that void in my heart was the healing power of Jesus Christ. Once filled with the love of God I realized that our soul purpose is to SERVE and to bring people to the knowledge of the truth. I also realized that many of the men at John 3:16 would tell me they had no idea what they were going to do when they left there. They had no jobs and did not wish to return the same areas they had spent while in their addiction. At the same time I really didn't know what my calling was after John 3:16. I spent many many days and nights praying and realized that the answer was to start a transition house in Searcy. To help men get back on their feet with jobs and housing. With that I give you Ephesians 5:8 Ministries. These men will be a blessing to the community and I hope that we can all welcome them and encourage them. Along with finding regular jobs we will go out and serve and be a light in the community
